How can this app locate seats if it cant even locate United Airlines? Very disappointing to say the least

It works well for for American, which is more than I can say for Americans app. It also found my flight on Hawaiian which is booked next year. In addition to the seat map it also provides some information about the aircraft and lets you know about different versions of the aircraft the airlines uses. For example, it let me know that American flies 5 different versions of the 757-200 and can display a map of each. Unfortunately, its not smart enough to know what exact aircraft the flight will use. It also provides photos of the aircraft, but most shots are very amateur. One useful thing I found about this app is it is good for quickly comparing the seat recline pitches. For example, its easy to see with this app that some airlines business seat pitch is not much better than other airlines economy seating. In summary, totally recommend.

Very helpful booking flights for my whole family, just like the website.

Basically I loaded it, tried it and deleted it, all within 10 minutes. Cant believe Trip Advisor claims this app. Dont waste your time.

Does not work at all. Airport fields clear after entering airport code. When you enter airline, flight and date and push find aircraft, nothing happens.

I loved this app in its previous version. I could reliably get seat recommendations for the multitude of flight I take. Now I input data, press the button, and wait. And wait. And wait. Nothing happens. Worthless app now.

This app used to work good, but now it freezes, the pages are blank, what has happened? I have reloaded it several times but the same results.

Once youve gone to a seating chart there is no way to search for the next segment of your travel. There is no "back" or "home" button. You have to force close & start again. Forget the worthless app, save the space-create a shortcut to the webpage. Too bad such a great vital travel site has such a inept app.

Although I see lots of complaints about the app not working, it works pretty good for me. The only issue I have is when looking at photos, the bottom portion of all the pictures are cut off. Other than that, it allows me to choose my plane, look at all of the seats at a glance, and touch any seat to get a description. Going back to choose a different plane/airline is easy as well. The app does what you would expect it to do.

No longer working. You can see the seat-maps but touching on the seats gives you no info.

Great app WHEN it works. Nice to see the difference in seats per aircraft. For some reason lately the "touch" part of the ui no longer working.

I used to love SeatGuru but now that it is owned by TripAdvisor it has gone downhill. The seat maps do not provide detailed information about each seat and in some cases are downright wrong. I tried to submit a comment for correction but Im dead in the water without a Facebook account to log in with. Come on! How about single sign-on with TripAdvisor? How about a way to report wrong seat maps... Very poor when this whole app is about giving accurate information.

The app will not let me view pictures of the airplane and not let me tips on each seat on the plane

Used to work just fine but often times screens are blank when clicking anywhere on the front menu. Can search for flights eventually but no seat info comes up.

I used to use this app all the time. Now when the app finally loads a seat map, when you tap on a seat, no information is provided. If a seat is yellow or red, you cant find out why. Also, photos work only about half of the time.
